I specialize in helping companies align their technology strategy with their core business objectives. My expertise is focused on addressing the most pressing challenges in a dynamic business environment, including:
- Digital Transformation Initiatives:
- Problem: Legacy systems hindering agility, inability to adopt new digital business models, disconnected customer experiences.
- My Role: Designing a target state architecture for digital transformation and strategies to enable seamless digital interactions and rapid innovation. I will map the journey from the current state to the desired future state.
- IT Cost Optimization and Efficiency/ IT Standards:
- Problem: High IT operational costs, redundant systems, inefficient resource utilization, lack of clear IT investment ROI.
- My Role: Identifying duplicate applications, consolidating IT landscapes, optimizing infrastructure, rationalizing software licenses, and defining standards to reduce complexity and improve cost-effectiveness.
- Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Integration:
- Problem: Incompatible IT systems, data silos, duplicated functionality, and cultural clashes preventing synergy realization post-merger.
- My Role: Assessing the IT landscape of both entities, developing integration strategies for applications and infrastructure, identifying rationalization opportunities, and creating a phased roadmap for a unified IT environment.
- Business Process Optimization:
- Problem: Inefficient workflows, manual errors, lack of automation, poor visibility into end-to-end processes.
- My Role: Mapping current state business processes, identifying bottlenecks and areas for improvement, designing target state processes supported by appropriate technology, and recommending automation solutions (e.g., RPA, BPM suites).
- Vendor Selection and Technology Standards:
- Problem: Sprawl of unmanaged technologies, difficulty integrating disparate systems, poor vendor management, lack of architectural coherence.
- My Role: Defining technology standards and policies, evaluating and selecting appropriate technologies and vendors, creating a technology roadmap, and ensuring new acquisitions align with the enterprise architecture vision.
- Improving Business-IT Alignment:
- Problem: IT projects not delivering business value, communication gaps between business and IT, IT strategy not supporting business goals.
- My Role: Translating business strategy into IT requirements and architectural principles, creating roadmaps that show how IT initiatives support business objectives, and fostering collaboration between business stakeholders and IT teams.
